Jim Deichert

Jim is a native of South Central North Dakota where he grew up on a dairy farm. He joined Steffes in 1991 and is the Division Manager for the Off-Peak Heating division.

Jim enjoys spending time with family and friends and in his spare time likes to take in or participate in various sporting events including basketball, volleyball and football. Hunting and camping and enjoying the North Dakota outdoors are also favorite past times. Jim's favorite food is a nice, tender ribeye steak.

Al Takle

Al is a native of Elk River, MN. He has a Mechanical Engineering Degree from North Dakota State University. He is currently the National Sales Manager for the Off-Peak Heating division.

In Al's spare time he likes to coach hockey and he is a former race car driver. Al's favorite food is steak.

Connie Aman

Connie is a native of Manning, ND. She is currently a Sales Manager for the Off-Peak Heating division.

In Connie's spare time she likes to playing volleyball, camping, walking, watching movies, playing cards, reading, and being a spectator at her children's sporting events. Connie's favorite food is seafood.

Dan Gaffney

Dan is a native of New Jersey. He is currently a Sales Manager for the Off-Peak Heating division based in Bakersfield, VT.

In Dan's spare time he likes to golf, go snowshoeing, garden and read.

Barry Gooding - Sales Manager

Barry is a native of Rhode Island. He is currently a Sales Manager for the Off-Peak Heating division based in Colorado Springs, CO.

Barry enjoys golfing and walking. His favorite foods are fried chicken and Salmon Ceaser.

Kelly Murphy - Smart Grid Business Development Specialist

Kelly is a native of Illinois, grew up outside of Chicago, but over the past 17 years has called Boulder, CO home. He graduated with a degree in Finance from Purdue University. Kelly is our Smart Grid Business Development Specialist who will head up and ramp up our Grid-Interactive Thermal Storage program or GETS.

Kelly enjoys the wonder of CO and is devoted to spending all the time possible with his wife, son (21), and daughter (13), and wonder dog Cozmo. When not hiking the nearby mountains, you will find him enjoying tubing at Boulder Creek or munching at the Boulder Farmers Market. Without a doubt, Kelly's favorite food is popcorn.

Lisa Myran - Marketing & Advertising Coordinator

Lisa grew up on a farm north of Lemmon, SD. She is currently the Marketing & Advertising Coordinator for the Off-Peak Heating division.

Lisa enjoys running/working out, basketball, hunting, gardening, and watching her kids participate in sports. Lisa's favorite foods are pizza and chocolate.

Tom Steffes

Tom is a native of Dickinson, ND. He is currently the Product Development Manager for the Off-Peak Heating division.

Tom enjoys spending time with family and in his spare time he likes being at the lake, motorcycling, snowmobiling and rebuilding cars. Tom's favorite foods are roast beef and gravy.

Joe Fude

Joe is a native of Florida, but he also grew up in the Midwest. He served in the Air Force for 4 years and is currently a Product Development Technician and in Technical Support for the Off-Peak Heating division.

Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 kids (18 months to 11 years old, 2 girls, 3 boys). He enjoys woodworking, working on the house and reading, especially books relating to Catholicism and philosophy. Joe's diet is sugar free, dairy free, alcohol free, gluten free, grain free and preservative free, yeast free (it makes you wonder what is left).

Julie Scheitlin

Julie is a native of Lindsey, MT. She is currently the Technical Support Analyst for the Off-Peak Heating division. She has been with Steffes Corporation for 13 years and specializes in technical support, working with contractors, utility personnel, and homeowners. Julie conducts field trainings and on line trainings for installers and contractors.

In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family on the farm in Montana and traveling. Her favorite foods include steak and lobster.
