Steffes Variable Orifice Flare certified 99.0% DRE in High Efficiency Program
DICKINSON, North Dakota – Steffes is proud to announce their Variable Orifice Flare has been recognized by the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality ‘s (DEQ) High Efficiency Program for 99.0% destruction removal efficiency (DRE) certification.
The High Efficiency Program assesses air pollution control devices with its main goal to reduce fugitive emissions, increase control efficiency, and improve North Dakota’s air quality. Operators are required to work with the state to meet application requirements and must be approved before they can claim 99.0% DRE when utilizing the Steffes Variable Orifice flare. Steffes has completed the rigorous emission testing of the Variable Orifice Flare and has proven its destruction removal efficiency of greater than 99.0% DRE.
