Connie Aman celebrates 30 years of service at Steffes

Connie Aman, ETS customer support manager at Steffes, recently celebrated 30 years with the company. In honor of her service, we sent her on a vacation of her choice: Antigua. Congratulations and thank you, Connie!

My husband, Dale, and I, along with two other couples, spent a wonderful relaxing week at a Sandals Resort on the Caribbean island of Antigua. Our days were filled with fun in the sun, including lounging by the pool, ocean breezes, evening walks along the beach, breathtaking sunsets, trivia games, lively nighttime entertainment, meeting and chatting with people from across the US, nightly sushi, sailing a Hobie, and a private island tour.

Our island tour took us to several memorable sites: Betty’s Hope, Antigua’s first sugar plantation; Devil’s Bridge National Park, famous for its dramatic limestone arch carved by the Atlantic Ocean and its powerful blowholes; Shirley Heights, a historic military lookout; and Nelson’s Dockyard and Museum in the English harbor. We even caught a distant glimpse of actor Jason Statham’s island home. A more unforgettable experience was feeling our first earthquake during our stay, with tremors registering at 5.2.

During our all-inclusive visit, we enjoyed plenty of delicious food and sampled a wide variety of tropical beverages. We also experienced the thrill and occasional terror of island driving, where rules seemed optional on winding 1-1/2 lane dirt paths. The resort was beautiful and charming, and the people were all so friendly and welcoming.

Overall, we had an incredible time and created so many lasting memories with great friends. Thank you, Steffes, for this unforgettable service award experience.
