Our room heaters are equipped with internal safety devices to protect from overheating, and we ultra-insulate the brick cores to minimize the heaters’ surface temperatures.

ACCESSORIES

Steffes’s optional accessories change the functionality of a room heater, affording you more flexibility in how you use your ETS system. Our temperature sensors allow you to choose from where the heater reads the ambient temperature, and the Transceiver allows you to adjust a number of settings while you’re away from home.

Outdoor Temperature Sensor

OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

This accessory communicates the outdoor temperature to your room heater, allowing it to regulate the amount of heat stored in the heater's bricks for you. As it gets colder or warmer outside, the sensor will tell your heater what to do. About this application, we like to say, "Set it and forget it!" A professional will mount the small, round, off-white sensor outside your home on a north-facing wall out of direct sunlight.

Remote Room Temperature Sensor

REMOTE ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR

This accessory allows you to regulate the amount of heat stored in the heater's bricks based on a temperature reading from a different location within the same room as your heater. It's useful when the heater is near a drafty spot or when a homeowner has two heaters in one room. A professional will mount this accessory, which is about the size of a single light switch, on a wall of your choice.
