Steffes Welcomes SpaceX for a Visit at our Dickinson Facility
Steffes Founder Paul Steffes recently had the opportunity to welcome Nick Owens, Starlink Sales Manager at SpaceX, to our Dickinson facility. This visit marked an exciting milestone for Steffes, as it was our first formal introduction to SpaceX and the innovative communication technologies they offer.
Even with limited time, Paul ensured that Nick received an in-depth tour of our operations. The visit began on our Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) production line, where Nick was able to see the precision, craftsmanship, and engineering that go into every unit we manufacture. From there, the tour continued through our Oil & Gas production areas, giving Nick a firsthand look at the wide range of energy solutions Steffes provides.
For Steffes, the visit was more than a simple walk-through; it was an opportunity to explore new possibilities for the future. As Paul explained, the tour and presentation were “a way for us to explore Starlink’s satellite communication abilities and how we could integrate those with our products.” Reliable communication technology plays a critical role in many of our products, so exploring a potential alignment between Starlink and Steffes is especially valuable.
Paul continued, “This opportunity has given us the chance to talk with other companies that SpaceX works with, like T-Mobile, to hear what they have to offer us.” These conversations have opened the door to broader collaboration, offering insights into how advanced communication networks could support our products and enhance customer experience.
We’re grateful Nick made the journey to visit our Dickinson campus and spent time learning about who we are and what we do. We look forward to exploring future opportunities presented to us by SpaceX.
