Is Your ETS Heater 20+ Years Old?

For many homeowners, Steffes Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) systems have delivered reliable comfort, warmth, and off-peak savings for years. As these systems reach 20+ years of age, they are nearing end of life. Parts can become harder to find, and repairs may no longer be possible.

Now is the time to Upgrade!

The Replacement Heater Program helps members upgrade to new Steffes ETS systems. For a limited time, Steffes is offering manufacturer incentives through participating utilities to help reduce installation costs. These incentives are primarily intended for replacing aging storage heaters but may also apply to NEW installations, depending on each utility’s program guidelines.

Why You Should Stay with ETS:

  • Uses low-cost off-peak electricity
  • Stores off-peak energy for use during peak demand
  • Helps stabilize the grid
  • Clean, reliable electric heat
  • Maintains eligibility for special ETS electric rates
  • Long-lasting and low maintenance

Limited-Time Manufacturer Incentives

Program Dates:

April 1 – September 30, 2026

Installation Deadline:

Installation must be completed by October 15, 2026

Check with your utility to learn about available, incentives such as:

  • Utility kW Rebate
  • On-bill Financing
  • Plus, Steffes Manufacturer Incentives

Combined incentives help reduce upfront costs, making it easier to upgrade your ETS system. This allows you to retain off-peak savings and continue reliable electric heating.
