“In the early days at Steffes, no matter what was needed, I wanted to learn it,” he said. “I gained so much knowledge in the different sections of the company because I was willing to cross train and learn any step that I could.”

In honor of 20 years of service at Steffes, we sent Jeremy Jahner, Director of Manufacturing Excellence, on a vacation of his choice this summer. Jeremy and his family retreated to Orlando, Florida, filled with adventures and quality family time.

“I never planned to be where I am today at Steffes, but the support, trust, respect, and understanding I’ve received are what have kept me here all these years,” Linda shared.

“The Charlotte D2P show was a great opportunity to increase awareness of our Shelby, North Carolina, plant as a trusted source for contract manufacturing in the Southeast,” shared David Miller, Regional Sales Representative.

“The tour and presentation were a way for us to explore Starlink’s satellite communication abilities and how we could integrate those with our products,” said Paul Steffes.
|
|
“The people that I met up there, not just there in Bethel, but also the missionaries that were in the village of Akiak, are what I’ll remember most about my trip,” Dan said. “I would like to go back sometime to visit them and see what progress has been made on the church. Teams from across the country have helped out with this project, so it’s cool to be a part of.”

“ETS can offer a unique storage value to utilities, but it’s success depends on a well-developed program,” said Katie Harrington, Steffes ETS Business Development Leader. “Our goal is to collaborate with utility partners to bridge the gap between understanding the technology and realizing its full value through the market adoption of our ETS products.”

“Steffes’s professional development program financially helped me with my last few classes, so I now have my degree in accounting!” Kendra said. “Our learning and development team made the process so simple for me and were always available when I had questions along the way.”

Steffes had the pleasure of welcoming 37 students and 7 faculty members from North Dakota State University (NDSU) as part of the Bison to the Bakken summer program in Dickinson. This program aims for students to create deeper connections between NDSU, energy-sector firms and cities in the area.

“The internships were fast paced from the start and never slowed down. When I came back full-time, it felt like I had never left, Steffes had fully prepared me for the transition into a full-time role,” said Tyson. “Through all my internships I was able to explore different areas of the company that I was interested in. That helped me make my final decision, and the work that I do today is something that makes me want to stay at Steffes.”

Steffes Founder, Paul Steffes, and Co-President, Todd Mayer, recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to join Keith Dennis of the Beneficial Electrification League.
