Steffes Highlights Innovation and Career Paths at SWCTE Academy Expo
On Thursday, May 7, 2026, members of Steffes joined local businesses at the Southwest Area Career & Technical Education (SWCTE) Academy Expo. Career and Technical Education (CTE) teaches specific career skills to students in middle school, high school, and post-secondary institutions, allowing them to build highly specific and versatile skills. The expo is a great opportunity for students to see what employment opportunities are available to them in the Dickinson area.
Team Steffes had a strong presence, with three interactive tables highlighting our different divisions, career paths, and what makes Steffes a great place to build a career. Students had the chance to see our Electric Thermal Storage room heater up close and explore our training trailer and 3D models of oil and gas products we manufacture.
One of the biggest highlights of the day was giving students the opportunity to make s’mores at our training trailer, where we safely lit our pilot and demonstrated a live flame.
In addition to learning about our Oil & Gas and ETS divisions, students connected with team members from engineering, supply chain, human resources, sales, and learning & development to explore the many career paths available at Steffes.
We were proud to connect with more than 1,000 students throughout the event and share the Steffes story. We are grateful for opportunities like this to engage with students in our communities and witness the incredible talent shaping the future workforce.
