Dean Kovash Celebrates 20 years of service at Steffes

Dean Kovash, design engineer at Steffes, recently celebrated 20+ years with the company! To honor his years of dedication, we sent Dean and his wife on a vacation of their choice and they chose Cabo San Lucas. Congratulations and thank you for 20+ amazing years, Dean!

Dean wanted to share just how meaningful this trip was for him and his wife:

Most people who know me are aware that traveling is not really ‘my thing.’ Because of that, I hadn’t yet taken advantage of my 15- or 20-year service awards, even though my 23-year anniversary with Steffes is right around the corner.

My wife, however, loves to travel and was becoming a little impatient with me after seeing so many other Steffes employees and spouses enjoy their service award trips. With our 40th wedding anniversary approaching, she insisted we finally take a vacation together and she chose Cabo San Lucas.

We spent seven days at Pueblo Bonito Resort in a beautiful two-level villa overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The views were incredible, the weather was perfect, and having our own infinity pool and hot tub made it easy to relax and enjoy every moment.

We also played two rounds of golf at Quivira Golf Club, enjoyed a sunset catamaran cruise, watched whales migrating, and experienced amazing food throughout the trip. One of the highlights was celebrating our anniversary dinner at Quivira Steak House, where I had the best ribeye, I’ve ever eaten.

This trip was certainly enjoyable, and we will remember it forever. I am very grateful to Steffes, for making service awards a reality for their employees. This is just one of the many reasons that I’ve chosen to make a career with this company.
