Steffes Flares Take the Lead: Delivering Reliability in the Anadarko Basin

Our Anadarko team has hit the ground running in the new year! Recently, we assisted a major operator in the Anadarko Basin who was experiencing issues with a competitor’s combustors failing during rain, as well as concerns about having the correct capacity if their VRUs went down.

So, what did #TeamSteffes do? We invited their engineers and team to our Oklahoma facility for a hands-on, in-depth training session to showcase who we are and what we do. During their visit, we provided a detailed look at our flaring products, demonstrating their functionality and key benefits.

During our discussions, they emphasized that Steffes’ responsiveness and dedication to their needs set us apart from their previous provider—helping them maintain operations and compliance. This is especially critical with the new Quad Ob regulations, which classify unlit flares as “super emitters.” The longer a flare remains unlit, the higher the risk of detection during flyovers and costly fines.

After seeing the benefits firsthand, they made the decision to transition all their locations to Steffes flares! This is a testament to our commitment—whenever they call, we answer and respond immediately to get them back up and running with the best flares on the market.
